Customer Responsibilities
A working outdoor water source must be accessible and turned on the day of service.
Please clear the service area of patio furniture, decorations, and any other obstructions beforehand.
Ensure that all windows and doors are fully closed on the day of your appointment.
For properties with multiple units, it is the client’s responsibility to provide notice to all residents at least seven days prior to service.
Service Limitations & Disclaimers
Water Entry: While our low-pressure techniques are designed to prevent water intrusion, we are not liable for leaks caused by faulty seals, cracks, or structural vulnerabilities.
Oxidation: Our cleaning services may not remove all oxidation from older or neglected surfaces, which may leave a powdery or chalk-like residue behind.
Surface Staining: Discoloration on materials like stucco, Dryvit, aluminum siding, or concrete may not be fully resolved with cleaning alone due to surface wear or aging.
Window Issues: Depending on water quality, light spotting on windows may occur. Carolina Pressure and Soft Wash is not responsible for any fogging or condensation inside multi-pane windows with compromised seals.
Sensitive Surfaces: Please inform us in advance if any area of your property cannot come into contact with water or cleaning agents. Without prior notice, we cannot be held responsible for damage to such surfaces.
Worksite Access: Only Carolina Pressure and Soft Wash technicians should be on-site during the job unless prior coordination has been made. Additional crews present without notice may result in a $100 convenience fee.
Gutter Interior Cleaning: Our standard exterior house wash does not include gutter interior cleaning.
Gutter Brightening: Removing dark streaks ("tiger stripes") on gutters requires a separate cleaning process and is available at an additional cost.
Artillery Fungus: We do not offer removal of artillery fungus as part of our house washing. This issue is typically due to improper mulching.
Electrical Safety: We are not responsible for any electrical malfunctions or fire hazards related to faulty exterior outlets, light fixtures, or switches.
Payment Policy
Payment is due in full upon completion of the work, unless otherwise specified in writing.
We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
A $35 fee will apply for any returned check.
Collections & Legal Action
Accounts not paid within 30 days may be subject to a Notice of Intent to File a Lien, sent via certified mail.
A 2% monthly interest charge will begin accruing on day 31 of delinquency.
Carolina Pressure and Soft Wash reserves the right to pursue legal action in civil court to recover unpaid balances.
All court costs, attorney fees, and collection expenses will be added to the outstanding amount.
